We have proven and established procedures, methods, sources, and programs. This means that you can focus on the operation of your franchised business, without having to establish the structure, or try to "reinvent the wheel."

Additionally, when you own a Yogis Grill, you have the right to use the Yogis Grill concept and methods in your exclusive territory. This can be a competitive advantage that others will not have.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT OUR FRANCHISE PROGRAM
Q: How is the size of the Exclusive Territory determined?
A: You will be granted an exclusive territory consisting of a 5-mile radius from your approved location, in a specific City and State, and will be licensed to operate one Yogis Grill Casual Japanese Restaurant at said approved location and within your exclusive territory.
In some smaller cities, and at our sole discretion, we may award 1 franchise per city, even though the City may be larger than five miles wide North to South or East to West. During the term of the Franchise Agreement, we will not establish a company operated or franchised Yogis Grill Casual Japanese Restaurant with this area. The continuation of the exclusivity is not dependant upon sales volume, market penetration, or any other contingency. Both parties cannot modify your territory except by mutual written agreement. Each Franchised Restaurant Business is operated according to a separate Franchise Agreement.

There are no territorial restrictions on accepting business from customers who reside or work outside your exclusive territory, nor are there any such restrictions on us or on other franchisees, but you will not be approved to conduct any independent advertising or marketing campaign outside your exclusive territory.

Franchisee's rights are limited to the location listed in the Franchise Agreement. Franchisee shall not relocate the Premises without prior written approval from Franchisor. Franchisor, in considering a request for relocation, shall take into account the business desirability of the proposed new location, its distance from other and future-planned franchised locations, the traffic patterns, security, cost, demographics of the area, and other such factors. Relocation approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Q: Does Yogis Grill operate company-owned business?
A: We have 1 company-owned location, which provides the basis and model for our franchising program, but we will not be expanding company stores into exclusive territories of our franchisees.

Q: How long has Yogis Grill been in business?
A: Yogis Grill was originally formed on December 13, 2005. We have over 14 years of experience in the Casual Japanese Restaurant industury.

Q: What does a Yogis Grill franchised business offer instead of doing this on my own?
A: With our support and training, you will have a head start in getting your business up and running, and becoming successful. The benefits of our franchise program include existing name awareness, established business practices, proven advertising program, operational procedures, technical support, buying power and sources, and industry recognition and support.

Q: What kind of training is available?
A: Training will be available at our company headquarters, or at another exclusive location, and will last for 1 week. Members of our management team will conduct training. Training will be provided for 2 people per franchised business. Ongoing training is also available.

Q: What if I don't have any business ownership experience?
A: Yogis Grill offers business coaching and training in all aspects of owning and operating a Yogis Grill business, including sales, sourcing inventory, advertising, cooking and food preparation processes, understanding of menu, personnel, and more.

Q: May I sell my business?
A: Yes, but there are some qualifications that prospective buyer must satisfy, including approval from Yogis Grill, the payment of a transfer fee, and completion of new franchisee training.

Q: How long does it take to open an Yogis Grill franchised business?
A: Yogis Grill Casual Japanese Restaurant business is operated from a retail facility. Yogis Grill will assist you with site selection and with lease negotiation. After the keys to the premises are received, it takes about 6 to 9 months to open the business, based on our experience.

Q: What territories are open?
A: We have territories open in selected areas at this time. We will be happy to discuss the specifics with you when we meet or speak on the telephone.
